"I feel the new government will successfully cooperate with us and
that regional cooperation will have a good start as well," Rupel
told STA in Brussels, where he is attending a meeting of the EU's
current and future foreign ministers.
Rupel said that at the meeting, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, and the
UK supported the speedy admission of Croatia to the EU. He added
Slovenia also stressed the need of helping Croatia on that road and
that contacts should be established with the new government as soon
as it was formed, STA said.
