HDZ vice president Jadranka Kosor told reporters after the meeting
that upon signing the agreement, the HSU would also sign a statement
supporting premier-designate Ivo Sanader in forming the new
government and its most important decisions.
HSU leader Vladimir Jordan confirmed they had agreed on most
demands from the HSU platform, and said the party would support
Sanader in the formation of the government and in all issues in
keeping with its platform.
"We agreed on what the new government has to do, which is our term
for supporting the premier-designate."
Jordan said the agreement would state what the Sanader cabinet
should do in its first 100 days. "We made a commitment to work on it
together".
Asked how much pensions could increase, he said it was still too
early to say.
