The participants discussed ways to prevent inter-ethnic conflicts
in schools.
The first international conference on conflict prevention was held
within a project called 'Eastern Slavonia: Teachers Without
Barriers'.
The organisation of this event was financed by German and Dutch
teachers' trade unions and the international federation of
education which has some 28 million members, including those from
Croatia.
Montenegro will host the second conference of this kind next year.
