"We want to say what we have done well, and what has to be improved,"
Racan told an election rally in the central Adriatic city of Zadar.
Four years ago, Croatia was in isolation with 350,000 unemployed
and a further 150,000 people who worked but were not paid. It was a
time when the state owed citizens and companies 26.5 billion kuna
(3.5 billion euros), he said.
"We set Croatia in motion, and I say to those who now claim that
Croatia is in a crisis and that it has to be set in motion, that the
crisis is in their heads," Racan said.
