Asked if he thought it was wasteful to spend so much money on the
campaign in view of the difficult economic situation in the
country, HSLS leader Drazen Budisa avoided a direct answer, saying
that his coalition would spend several times less money than their
political rivals.
Responding to the question whether he was afraid of the votes of
rightist and centre-right parties being dispersed considering the
fact that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) had formed a coalition
with leftist parties, Budisa said he was not, because the rating of
the leftist parties was low.
DC leader Mate Granic announced that the HSLS/DC coalition would
hold ten election rallies from November 7 to 20, with the first one
to take place in Varazdin and the final one in Zagreb.
