ZAGREB, Nov 3 (Hina) - A hearing before the ICTY Appeals Chamber on

Anto Nobile told Hina on Monday. #L#
"The tribunal's decision is a good foundation and a new chance for
Blaskic," Nobilo told Hina over the telephone declining to estimate
a possible outcome of the hearing, scheduled for December 8, at
which new witnesses and evidence will be introduced. Closing
arguments will most probably take place a week later.
The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
sentenced Blaskic to 45 years in prison for crimes in the Lasva
Valley, the most grave of them being the slaughter of some hundred
Moslems in the central Bosnian village of Ahmici on April 16, 1993.
