LJUBLJANA, Oct 23 (Hina) - Slovenia does not rule out arbitration in dispute with Croatia over the border at sea, but Ljubljana expects that the achieved level of the negotiations between the two countries would be taken into account
in the arbitration procedure, said a press release issued by the Slovene foreign ministry on Thursday evening.
LJUBLJANA, Oct 23 (Hina) - Slovenia does not rule out arbitration in
dispute with Croatia over the border at sea, but Ljubljana expects
that the achieved level of the negotiations between the two
countries would be taken into account in the arbitration procedure,
said a press release issued by the Slovene foreign ministry on
Thursday evening. #L#
"Slovenia in principle does not rule arbitration as one of
possibilities for a peaceful resolution of the open issue between
the two countries. We, however, expects the arbitration procedure
to take into account the achieved level of the negotiations held so
far," read the press release in which the Slovene ministry informs
that Ljubljana has responded to Croatia's note of 7 October.
