Asked which party they would vote for if the election was tomorrow,
30 percent said they knew, 32 percent were undecided, 22 percent did
not know or declined to answer, while 16 percent said they would not
vote at all, according to the research called "Little Political
Barometer".
The majority of the undecided were in northern Croatia, in cities,
and in the 30-39 age group.
According to the research, five parties would win enough votes to
enter parliament -- the Croatian Democratic Union, the Social
Democratic Party, the Croatian Peasant Party, the Croatian
People's Party, the Croatian Party of Rights, and the Croatian
Social Liberal Party.
Assessing the government's performance, the people polled said
they were satisfied with road-building, tourism, preparations for
European Union access, refugee returns, relations with the Hague
war crimes tribunal, the defence system reform, and the protection
of human rights.
The five worst graded tasks were the reduction of the external debt,
corruption and crime prevention, the creation of new jobs and
improvement of living standards, and the privatisation audits.
