SPLIT HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "SOFTCOM 2003"

SPLIT, Oct 7 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications, Ronald Zuvanic, opened the 11th international software, telecommunications, and computer networks conference "Softcom 2003" in Split on Tuesday. #L# The conference has pooled some 300 scientists and experts from 41 countries. This year's conference will last until 10 October. It is being held aboard a ship which will be shuttling between Split, Venice, Ancona and Dubrovnik. (hina) rml sb
