ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - Croatia's gross domestic product in the second quarter of this year was five per cent higher in real value in comparison to the same period last year, the National Bureau of Statistics has reported.

second quarter of this year was five per cent higher in real value in

Capital investment saw a growth of 18.3 percent compared to 16.2
percent in the first quarter.
Personal spending rose by 4.7 percent compared to 4.9 percent in the
first three months this year. After decreasing for 12 consecutive
quarters, government spending in the second quarter this year
experienced a slight increase of 0.4 percent from the same period
last year.
Following a rise of 14.3 percent in the first quarter, exports of
commodities and services increased by 8.1 percent. At the same
time, imports grew by 9.1 percent.
