The Slovene foreign ministry applauded what Croatia's Deputy
Foreign Minister Ivan Simonovic said about how Croatia would
approach the issue.
The ministry hails the fact that Croatia supports the stance that
all Adriatic countries have to be agreed when it comes to ecology
and fishing in the Adriatic, a statement read.
Also today, Slovene media ran several statements by Miha Pogacnik
from the Ljubljana Law School. He should be part of the Slovene
delegation at tomorrow's meeting.
Pogacnik has said the proclamation of an exclusive economic zone
would be an unusual step and contrary to international law. He has
also said that if the matter went to international arbitration, the
whole land border should be considered.
