The seminar, organised by the Atlantic Council of Croatia and
NATO's information office from Brussels, will wrap up on 6
September.
Commenting on NATO's role in his country, the Bosnian minister said
the forces of the Alliance had played a very positive role in the
stabilisation of the situation in Bosnia.
He said the continual decrease of NATO troops in Bosnia was possible
and added that the remaining NATO troops would serve as the token of
the interest of the West to see that things were going back to normal
in south-eastern Europe.
Speaking about relations between Zagreb and Sarajevo, Ivanic said
they were constantly improving and added that open issues such as
refugee returns, the restitution of property and the status of
Ploce Port should be carefully discussed without political
pressure from any sides.
