"By Friday morning the Ministry received 94.07 percent of answers
to the EC questionnaire and expects to receive the remaining 5.93
percent by the end of working hours," Ministry spokeswoman Ivana
Grgic has told Hina.
The deadline for submitting the answers to the Ministry of European
Integration is August 22.
Once bodies of the state administration answer questions
pertaining to their jurisdiction, the answers will be edited,
revised by an expert group, and translated into English.
The Ministry expects that the answers will be submitted to the
government by September 26, Grgic said.
The government yesterday agreed on activities and deadlines
regarding the completion of answers to the EC questionnaire.
EC President Romano Prodi submitted the questionnaire to Croatian
authorities on July 10. EU aspirants are usually given three months
to complete the questionnaire.
The answers to the questionnaire should be sent to Brussels by
October 10.
