SARAJEVO, Aug 21 (Hina) - A court in Sarajevo has sentenced Almir
Abdulah from Zenica to six months in prison for threats forwarded to
the pope during his visit to Croatia. #L#
Abdulah sent e-mail to Hina and the Croatian Catholic news agency
IKA from an Internet cafee in Zenica, threatening the life of Pope
John Paul II during his visit to Croatia.
Judge Branko Peric said on Wednesday he could not accept Abdulah's
explanation that this was a misunderstood joke intended to
challenge other hackers.
Abdulah was arrested very soon after sending the e-mail.
