news programmes in July.

In a statement signed by vice-president Jadranka Kosor, the HDZ
recalled a decision by parliament that HTV should monitor and
report on the amount of airtime it devotes to individual topics and
political parties in its programmes.
The statement says that HTV news programmes are the only source of
information for more than 92 percent of citizens, and that this fact
should be taken into account given that this is an election year.
