In a letter to the prime minister, Budisa recalled that NATO's
largest civilian and military exercise had taken place on the
slopes of Mount Biokovo last May, which involved about 200
firefighters, civil defence and military personnel from several
countries.
The HSLS president proposed that the government request assistance
in putting out numerous forest fires along the Croatian Adriatic
coast.
