"An investigation has proved that I am in no way implicated in
Djindjic's killing. In order to remove any suspicion about my
participation in criminal organisations, my stand and the stand of
my lawyers is to do our best to help competent bodies to completely
clarify any problem that might be connected with me," Mikelic, who
is believed to have ties with the notorious Zemun mobster clan, said
in an interview for the Nin weekly, published on Friday.
