The committee, which held the meeting in the U.S. State Department
in Washington on Tuesday, agreed to enhance and strengthen
cooperation, said Nada Svob Djokic.
Croatian-U.S. scientific and technological cooperation is the most
important bilateral cooperation in terms of amounts of funds
invested in projects and in terms of the projects' impact. The two
countries allocate annually over 400,000 US dollars for scientific
projects, and over 550,000 for programmes of the exchange of
university students and professors.
