Festival on five stages at the Student Centre in downtown Savska
Street on Sunday. #L#
The programme began early in the afternoon on two stages -- DJ Stage
and Breakalicious Crew -- which are playing electronic music until
10 p.m. when the main attraction, British trip hop group Morcheeba,
takes to the stage.
Prior to Morcheeba's show on the main stage, the audience has been
entertained by some of Croatia's best rock bands, including Let 3,
Pips, Chips & Videoclips, and Bare i Placenici.
Performers on the rock stage include Hard Time, Djeca, Zadruga,
Atheist rap, Subway Dogs, and Flayer.
The "Roots/ethno/crossing border" stage features Gustafi,
Shamrock Rovers, Brain Holidays, Sumski, Superhicks, Sick Swing
Orchestra, and Chevrolets 57.
Parallel with the concerts, the Student Centre cinema is playing
the films "A Hard Day's Night" and "The Doors".
Zagreb Open Air Festival is one of the rare rock and electronic
music festivals held in the centre of the capital.
The organisers, Zagreb's Healthy Society, hope the festival will
become an annual event Zagreb will host in July for students to mark
the end of the school year.
