This year 15 children registered with the Croatian Association of
Mine Victims attended the workshops.
Racan said the workshops were an attempt by the government to take
care of such children. "As prime minister, I support such actions,"
he said, adding that the government could not fund everything and
that other institutions and people should donate funds for actions
like this one, as well as for demining.
There are other people in Croatia with special needs and caring for
them reflects how socially sensitive a society and state is, said
the PM.
