Zagreb county court investigating judge Ratko Scekic said on Friday
there was no ground to suspect that Batarelo had given and Canjuga
taken bribes in return for keeping Batarelo informed about State
Prosecutor's Office decisions in cases in which Batarelo acted as
defence attorney.
To back its request, USKOK submitted as evidence transcripts of
secretly taped conversations between Canjuga and Batarelo.
