The trade unions urge MPs to request a third reading of the bill to
give social partners more time to harmonise their stands on
controversial institutes and adopt amendments sponsored by workers
unions.
The unions oppose the reduction of severance pays and the period of
notice, as well as a provision increasing the number of employees
working for so-called small employers from 10 to 20.
Tomorrow's protest is a pre-election warning to MPs and their
parties because workers will not vote for them if they support the
law restricting workers' rights, the union leaders said.
