ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - The fifth generation of Zagreb's war school "Ban Josip Jelacic" was officially promoted at the Joint Command for Education and Training on Thursday, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the
school.

This year, 13 officers, including Ukrainian colonel Andriy
Miroshnichenko, earned the highest degree in military education in
the Croatian Armed Forces.
The commander of the war school, Brigadier General Mirko Sundov,
said 63 attendants, from colonels to generals, had completed the
school in the past five years.
Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic, who also attended the ceremony,
said that President Stjepan Mesic, as the Armed Forces' Supreme
Commander, strongly "supported the Defence Ministry and the reform
of the army, its integration into NATO and professionalisation, as
well as efforts to remove politics and politicking from army
ranks."
The promoted officers were congratulated by Armed Forces' Deputy
Chief-of-Staff, General Slavko Baric.
