LJUBLJANA, July 1 (Hina) - Official Slovene sources declined to comment on Tuesday on the possibility of the U.S. suspending some US$4 million worth of military aid to Slovenia over the next year after it refused to sign a bilateral
agreement on the immunity of U.S. citizens before the International Criminal Court.

Slovenia hopes the seven countries joining NATO in 2004, one of
which is Slovenia, will be exempt from the suspension of military
aid even though Washington's official stance is that NATO entry
will not automatically mean the renewal of aid.
