Serbia and Montenegro's minister for human and minority rights,
Rasim Ljajic, signed the decision on Sljivancanin's hand-over on
Friday. According to procedure, the ministry is to deliver the
decision to the Belgrade District Court, the National Council for
Cooperation with the ICTY and the Serbian Interior Ministry, which
will set the date of the hand-over with the ICTY.
Sljivancanin, who was arrested on June 12, was indicted for war
crimes committed at Ovcara outside Vukovar in 1991.
Former Yugoslav People's Army officers Miroslav Radic and Mile
Mrksic, indicted together with Sljivancanin, had already
surrendered to the ICTY.
