The festival's art director, Rajko Grlic, said 24 films would be
shown at the main event. This will be a selection of "famous and
unknown", "big and small" movies, he said.
Apart from the main programme, the five-day film marathon will show
visitors more than 70 films from all over the world, including the
Russian national retrospective, Grlic said.
A Motovun film school will also be held, which will be opened by a
famous New Zealand director, Dick Ross, with a lecture on the
structure of stories.
A novelty is also an award called "odAdoA" ("fromAtoA") and will be
given to the best film in the region from Albania to Austria. The
award is EUR10,000 and will be used to motivate the distribution of
the awarded film in countries of the region.
