The government also approved the statute of the Council for
National Minorities, which regulates the Council's scope of
activities and structure, and decided to cover the costs of county
election commissions and offices of state administration which
helped organise recent minority elections.
The government also adopted two contracts on issues of common
interest - between the Republic of Croatia and the Evangelical
Church and the Christian Reformist Church, and the Republic of
Croatia and the Evangelical Church, Christian Adventist Church and
the Alliance of Baptist Churches in Croatia. The contracts pertain
to education and pastoral care in penitentiaries, prisons,
hospitals and social institutions, as well as in the police and
armed forces.
The government adopted a decision extending the validity of an
agreement on the temporary regime of implementation of the
Agreement on Cross-Border Cooperation between Croatia and Slovenia
from Article 47 to Article 52 for a period of one year, from 4 July
2003 to 4 July 2004.
