ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Ambassador Marisa Lino, a senior official of the US State Department, will arrive in Zagreb on Wednesday to meet senior Croatian government officials for talks on the non-extradition of US nationals to the
International Criminal Court (ICC), the US Embassy in Zagreb reported Tuesday.
ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Ambassador Marisa Lino, a senior official
of the US State Department, will arrive in Zagreb on Wednesday to
meet senior Croatian government officials for talks on the non-
extradition of US nationals to the International Criminal Court
(ICC), the US Embassy in Zagreb reported Tuesday. #L#
Lino will head a five-member delegation comprised of legal advisors
from the State Department and the Pentagon. The talks at the
Croatian foreign ministry will be held on June 12.
The US has been trying to sign bilateral agreements on the non-
extradition of American citizens to the ICC. So far, 38 countries
have signed such agreements. The US is threatening to withhold
military assistance from those countries which refuse to sign the
agreement.
