PODGORICA, June 8 (Hina) - The Croatian Consul in Serbia and Montenegro, Petar Poljanic, positively assessed his government's decision to abolish visas for Serbia and Montenegrin citizens, telling Podgorica media this would not
significantly increase tourist arrivals from this country to Croatia.

"Abolishing visa requirements is another good sign in relations
between the two countries. I estimate that certain issues will be
more easily solved in the coming period. Moreover, the abolishment
of visas will facilitate trade between the two countries," he told
Podgorica's "Vijesti" daily.
But the consul believes that "the number of tourists from Serbia and
Montenegro on the Croatian Adriatic will not increase
significantly".
