Momcilo Trajkovic, formerly chief of police in Kosovska Kamenica,
was, however, sentenced to a jail term of three years and four
months for attempted murder and illegal arms possession.
During the first trial, a panel comprised of one international and
three Albanian judges sentenced Trajkovic to 20 years in jail, but
the Kosovo Supreme Court quashed the verdict and ordered a
retrial.
The new sentence was passed by a panel of two international and one
Kosovo judge, the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo said in a press
release.
