In April, Croatia Airlines transported 106,625 passengers, which
is a 16% increase compared to the same month in 2002. Of the total
number, 38,005 passengers flew on regular national flights, an
increase of 27 percent, the company's officials reported.
A total of 56,673 passengers were transported on regular
international flights and charter flights numbered 11,947
passengers, increases of 2% and 83% respectively.
The AEA's official report for March says Croatia Airlines achieved
good results.
As regards the punctuality of take-offs, the company has managed to
meet this criterion for 91.6 percent of its flights, and has thus
made sixth place among AEA members. As regards the punctuality of
landing, it has taken the eighth place with 88.4 percent.
The carrier's officials said that AEA members had seen 4.5% less
passengers this March as opposed to last year's due to the war in
Iraq.
