Unions (NHS) indicates that the minimum cost of living for a four-
member family dropped by 0.09 percent in April, comparing to March.

Average consumption costs in April amounted to 7,132 kuna, which is
a 43 kuna drop in relation to the previous month.
Housing costs decreased by 1.5% due to lower heating bills, while
the prices of food grew by 0.03%, hygiene by 0.84% and clothing by
0.58 percent.
Costs of living are still the highest in Bol on Brac Island, where
minimum costs for food, hygiene, clothing, housing, transport and
culture amount to 7,630 kuna per month.
The average salary in Croatia for February was 3,830 kuna, so the
average salary covered the union basket the most in Zagreb with 57
percent, followed by Rijeka, Split and Osijek, where the average
salary covered 55% of the union basket.
The NHS's basket does not include the costs of education, health,
vacations, sports activities, necessities for new-born babies, nor
personal vehicles.
