ZAGREB, Apr 30 (Hina) - Negotiations on a labour legislation reform between the government, employers, and unions are proceeding well, with several minor issues left which might be resolved as early as next week, Labour Minister

He did not say which those issues were, adding that dozens had been
resolved over the past three months.
Vidovic urged the government to draw up by July, along with the
Labour Act amendments, a dozen other bills regulating the labour
market, including amendments to laws on bankruptcy, distress,
criminal proceedings, and the Penal Code.
He said all these bills were part of a single package with the Labour
Act. The government has bound competent ministries to do their part
of the job relative to said bills as soon as possible.
In preparing next year's state budget one must secure 180 million
kuna (EUR23.7 mln) for severance pays, which is 0.01 percent of
Gross Domestic Product and constitutes increased security for
senior workers, said Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac.
