PRISTINA, April 24 (Hina) - Representatives of peace troops in

Serbia, KFOR sources reported in Pristina on Thursday. #L#
The authorities in Belgrade requested the extradition of Musliu,
whom KFOR members arrested in Gnjilan on Tuesday under suspicion
that he represented a treat to security in Kosovo. Musliu is in
custody in the US Bondsteel camp near Urosevac and KFOR claims that
his arrest has nothing to do with an arrest warrant which the
authorities in Belgrade have submitted to Interpol.
Pristina's daily in Albanian Koha Ditore on Thursday cited an
unnamed KFOR source as saying that should Musliu's guilt be proven,
he would be handed over to the UN Civil Mission in Kosovo, but should
the accusations prove to be false, the former commander would be
released.
