BELGRADE, April 22 (Hina) - The Serbian government on Tuesday reached a unanimous decision to suggest that the acting Serbian president, Natasa Micic, lift the state of emergency which was imposed on March 12, after the assassination
of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.

Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic told reporters after the
government session that despite the lifting of the state of
emergency, state bodies would continue to combat organised crime in
Serbia. He expects that Micic will make her decision later in the
day.
Micic told the Beta news agency today that she would make the
decision today or tomorrow, depending on when she would receive the
government's motion.
