The latest conflict between the Social Democrats (SDP) and the
Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) about who was the first to announce the
date of elections (without agreement among coalition partners) was
staged, because it is more than obvious that the two parties will
form a post-electoral coalition again, Pasalic said.
He announced the HB would run in the elections independently and
that he was willing to join in what he called a state-building
coalition of the centre, which would comprise of the HB, the
Croatian Party of Rights, the Croatian True Revival party and a
Christian Democrat party.
