The meeting gathered representatives of 15 member countries of
Interpol.
"Participants especially discussed the financing of terrorist
activities through the abuse of resources of humanitarian
organisations which were active during the war in some former
Yugoslav countries," the statement said.
Because of the widened connection of members of terrorist
organisations, the meeting, organised by Interpol's main
secretariat and the Croatian interior ministry's criminal police
department, was attended by representatives of Albania, Algeria,
Belgium, Bosnia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Macedonia, Ireland,
the United States, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey and
Tunis.
