Moslavina County's advisory board for European integration
processes and the economic council of the county's chamber of
commerce in Sisak where he stated that the example of the Russian
Mechel company that bought the Sisak ironworks, went in favour of
connecting Croatia with the European Union. #L#
Mechel did not come to Sisak only for the ironworks. This courageous
investment was decided upon keeping in mind that Croatia would
quickly become a member of the EU and that will mean that the company
will be able to appear on the market in the Union, Mimica said at the
meeting.
Speaking about Croatia's accession to the EU, Mimica pointed out
that his ministry's duty was to create and strengthen the awareness
of citizens about the usefulness that they, companies and the
entire country would gain with Croatia's entry into the EU.
