ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister on Thursday received the Foreign Minister of Serbia and Montenegro, Goran Svilanovic, who is on a day-long official visit to Zagreb.

Svilanovic expressed his country's support to Croatia's
application for EU membership.
According to a statement issued by the government's public
relations office, Racan stressed the two countries were
cooperating and solving open issues on a regular basis.
Serbia and Montenegro supports Croatia's path towards the EU
because this is the same path Serbia and Montenegro is taking,
Svilanovic was cited in the statement.
Racan and Svilanovic voiced satisfaction with the two countries'
cooperation and agreements signed so far.
Speaking about further cooperation Racan and Svilanovic pointed to
negotiations conducted by a joint border commission of the two
countries and new steps in the liberalisation of the visa regime.
Racan also expressed satisfaction with progress in economic
cooperation based on partnership, the statement said.
