SINJ, Dec 30 (Hina) - Presidential candidate Doris Kosta said in thesouthern town of Sinj on Thursday that she would advocate theestablishment of a strong national bank because the existing bankswhich were in foreign ownership were
not interested in investing intothe economy.
SINJ, Dec 30 (Hina) - Presidential candidate Doris Kosta said in the
southern town of Sinj on Thursday that she would advocate the establishment of
a strong national bank because the existing banks which were in foreign
ownership were not interested in investing into the economy.Kosta was speaking at a news conference which was also attended by
former workers of a local thread factory which went bankrupt. Kosta used to
represent those workers who are still seeking their rights.
She said that she would see to it that the injustice done to former
employees of bankrupt companies was rectify with a law which has been submitted
to parliament and which she said would make it possible to prosecute war
profiteers and other criminals who obtained their property in an illegal
way.
