SIBENIK, Dec 4 (Hina) - Inmates in the Sibenik County Prison who refused to eat since December 1 started taking prison food again on Friday evening after talking with Assistant Justice Minister Ivan Damjanovic, who is also the head of the Prison System Administration.

Thirty-two of the prison's 44 inmates who had gone on hunger strike said in a letter to the justice minister they were doing it because they were disgruntled with the inefficiency, lack of professionalism and slowness at Sibenik's municipal and county courts.

Damjanovic told Hina today he had visited the prison and spoken to every prisoner on hunger strike.
