Bosnian citizens will make constitutional changes by agreement among themselves, Ashdown said. This is their task and not ours and this must happen through an agreement among the three peoples, the high representative said in an interview for the Bosnian issue of Vecernji List daily of Friday.
He said the international community could not impose constitutional solutions for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The head of the delegation of European Parliament's Committee on Southeast Europe, Doris Pack, has recently called on the Bosnian parliament, the media and the public to intensify debates on changing the country's constitution as defined by the Dayton peace agreement.
