Upon his release, the architecture student was taken over by emigration police who cancelled Vranesevic's residence in Croatia and banned him from entering Croatia for a period of 180 days, Zagreb police spokesperson Gordana Vulama told Hina.
Vranesevic left the police building in the company of representatives of the Serbia and Montenegro Embassy in Zagreb, without giving any statements to the press.
Vranesevic and two other students were arrested in Zagreb on November 20, after they took photos of themselves carrying a photo of Chetnik leader Draza Mihailovic in Ban Jelacic Square.
He was sentenced to 15 days in prison for violating public order and insulting the moral feelings of citizens, but his sentence was later reduced to ten days.
One of the two other students was acquitted, while the other one was sentenced to five days in prison and was released last Wednesday.
