DUBROVNIK, Oct 26 (Hina) - An inspection team from Serbia and
Montenegro is paying a visit to Croatia on Tuesday and Wednesday to conduct the
third review of demilitarised areas in line with a protocol on the temporary
regime along the southern border signed by Croatia and Serbia and
Montenegro. This is the fourth military inspection since the protocol went into
force. Croatia's inspection team will carry out a review on October 28 and 29.
In the ongoing phase of demilitarisation, fortifications along the
southern border were destroyed or remodelled.
The current review will confirm the completion of work on the
fortifications, after which de-mining of the demilitarised area will continue,
said Brigadier Sandi Knezevic, who heads a Croatian team accompanying the team
from Serbia and Montenegro.
