ZAGREB, Oct 21 (Hina) - The Croatian government most harshly condemns
Wednesday's incident in which two Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) deputies were
lightly injured after an explosion of a device thrown by an unidentified
perpetrator outside an apartment block in Vukovar's Borovo Naselje district,
the government public relations office said in a statement Thursday."Immediately after learning about the incident Prime Minister Ivo
Sanader gave a special order to the police to do all they can to discover the
perpetrator and bring him to justice," the statement said.
The explosive device was thrown around 2000 hours Wednesday outside an
apartment block in which the local branch of the HSP has its offices on the
ground floor.
The explosion was preceded by an argument involving several persons who
were sitting on the terrace outside the offices of the local branch of the HSP
in the building, investigating judge Nikola Besenski said. At one point one of
them walked away and soon afterwards there was an explosion, Besenski
confirmed.
