The commission adopted a rule book. Chairman Anto Djapic, of the Croatian Party of Rights, voiced confidence the commission would succeed in establishing if transactions, the issuance of guarantees and everything that went on in Lenac was in accordance with the law and justified from the point of view of Croatia's economic interests.
The commission's establishment was moved by 16 MPs of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union with a view to establishing the real owners of the shipyard for which loans and state guarantees were approved, the reasons why the guarantees were given, and the value of the guarantees Lenac provided to insure the loans.
