ZAGREB, Oct 5 (Hina) - The preservation of a people's language,alphabet, culture and identity through schools, the media and culturalinstitutions is a common goal for Croatia and Hungary, officials ofthe Croatian Parliament's
committee on human and ethnic minorities'rights, the Hungarian Government and the Croat minority in Hungaryassessed in Zagreb on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, Oct 5 (Hina) - The preservation of a people's language,
alphabet, culture and identity through schools, the media and cultural
institutions is a common goal for Croatia and Hungary, officials of the
Croatian Parliament's committee on human and ethnic minorities' rights, the
Hungarian Government and the Croat minority in Hungary assessed in Zagreb on
Tuesday.The officials said Croatia and Hungary respected all European standards
on ethnic minorities' rights, the Croatian Parliament Public Relations Office
said in a statement.
The Croatian officials assessed that Croats were one of the best
organised minorities in Hungary, and thanked the Hungarian Government for how
it provides for ethnic minorities.
