LJUBLJANA, Sept 30 (Hina) - Slovenia has informed NATO of "the wideraspects of the implementation of Croatia's decision on the Ecologicaland Fisheries Protection Zone in the Adriatic" relevant for NATO,Slovene news agency STA reported
on Thursday.
LJUBLJANA, Sept 30 (Hina) - Slovenia has informed NATO of "the wider
aspects of the implementation of Croatia's decision on the Ecological and
Fisheries Protection Zone in the Adriatic" relevant for NATO, Slovene news
agency STA reported on Thursday.STA said Croatia had unilaterally declared the Ecological and Fisheries
Protection Zone in the Adriatic. The agency said Croatia, Italy and Slovenia
reached a trilateral agreement in Brussels that the regulations of the zone
would not apply to EU member countries.
STA reported that of 26 NATO member countries, seven were not members of
the European Union and the rules of the Ecological and Fisheries Protection
Zone would be applied to them.
Croatia will start applying the zone on 3 October.
