The bodies are believed to be the victims of the notorious Serb-run Omarska concentration camp, Amidzic said in an interview with the Banja Luka-based newspaper Nezavisne Novine published on Tuesday.
The camp officially operated from late May to August 1992. Several thousand Bosnian Muslims and Croats from Prijedor and surrounding villages were interred there and about a thousand of them were executed.
The exhumation, launched a month ago by a team of experts from the Bosnian Muslim-Croat Federation's missing persons commission, will continue.
