RIJEKARIJEKA, Sept 13 (Hina) - The Postal and Telecommunications Workers'Union on Monday organised a protest rally of Croatian Telecom (HT)employees in Rijeka, demonstrating dissatisfaction with the announcedsacking of more than 700 HT employees.
RIJEKA, Sept 13 (Hina) - The Postal and Telecommunications Workers' Union on Monday organised a protest rally of Croatian Telecom (HT) employees in Rijeka, demonstrating dissatisfaction with the announced sacking of more than 700 HT employees.

Speaking at the rally, which was held in front of the HT's main offices, union leader Jadranko Vehar said that 107 HT employees would be laid off in Istria, Lika-Senj and Primorje-Gorski Kotar counties.

The rally was attended by some 400 protesters.

This is the third protest rally, the first two having taken place in Zagreb and Osijek. Another protest rally is scheduled to take place in Split on Tuesday.
